"He Preys on the Precious"
I'm slowly watching as the Devil
Takes over her life;
Her pure white soul.
What's happening to my precious girl?
A demon is devouring her alive.
All her petty angst,
Her worthless woes
Lead the Demon ever closer.
He thrives on her unending dissatisfaction.
Too thick.
Too thin.
Not enough attention;
Why won't he look at me?
Your personality is a scar in your beauty, darling.
If you're not careful...
If you don't pay attention...
You'll fall into the trap he's set,
And I can't help you this time.

Hello! Sit and Watch a Movie.
So we've had a few responses to my ad about the new help, but we have limited space. After reading the entries, I've selected two writers. One is a writer who has something to offer that none of us can. COMICS! She loves to draw and write the stories herself. She'll be starting on February 4th, so look for her! The other will be posting on February 5th. Also, as many of you may know, I'm in winter guard. Because of that, my Wednesdays are jammed with that and homework. Unfortunately, I don't have time to post on Wednesdays, so I'm moving to Thursdays!
There isn't a lot to talk about this month, so I'll share my newest obsession......TANGLED!!! I am a huge fan of classic Disney, Mulan, Snow White, Cinderella, all that stuff, but when i saw Tangled, my life changed (okay maybe not that much, but you get the point). For those who haven't seen it, please do soon! It is such a great movie for people of all ages. The classic tale of Rapunzel is retold in this animated movie as a girl with 70 ft. long hair and Flynn Rider, the cunning thief who just so happened to stumble upon this girl that changed their lives. If anyone is looking for a cute movie to watch, Tangled is the one to see!

STOP, It's Beaver Time!
My second semester of college started today. I am happy to say, my teachers seem very funny and nice. I finally decided I would check out that website, ratemyprofessor.com and my teachers do have high ratings, so that is a plus. Yesterday was my grandma's 80th birthday so we are going to celebrate her birthday this coming weekend. She is very healthy for her age. I know this because last year she had cancer around one of her kidneys and she was up and walking the next day after her surgery. My family members are fighters I tell you haha. I saw illya's post about her camp. I miss the camp I went to, Rock Eagle 4-H. That was a fun place with all the activities we got to do. When you were of high school age, you went to other 4-H spots like in Jekyll Island. I miss all that and the fun songs we sang. I still remember them. Also, the three tribes Muscogee, Shawnee and Cherokee. I had great memories made there.

YWCO....The Best Summer You Will Ever Have
Hey everyone. I know it's not my day to post (Sourburglar will still be posting) but i found out today that registration for my camp has opened. Anyone who has a younger sister that is 7 or older and is looking for something to do over the summer, check out Athens Ywco Camp.
This summer will be my 6th year going to camp (an all girls camp btw)
and it has been a wonderful experience. There is nothing I would rather
do than going to camp. one and two week sessions are available as well
as a horse specialty camp and an amazing CIT program. I will be in my
second and final year of the CIT program. I have met some of my best
friends and made bonds with people that I will never make outside of
camp. I highly suggest this!!!!! for more info go to http://www.athensywcocamp.com/
It is a little expensive, but it is definitely worth it!!!!!

Bouquet
So many emotions mixed up inside
I can't show the world but I can't hide
The things I see are strange to me
They aren't for human eyes
Falling from heaven but catching the soul
Of an unfortunate wretch
Her eyes are cold
They steel the world out and he steals
The light she traps inside
Her love is lost as her body and soul
Fame from fortune
Misfortune from fame
Shedding the last tear
A flower from a silent bouquet

Blacken Sky
Konbanwa!
My name is Quinton, and I'm one of the Co-Founders of Life in Fiction. Illya and I decided to do a crossover post for each of our blogs every month, so here I am. Today I'll be posting one of my many poems I have written. Not even my own readers have seen this one yet so be sure to comment and let me know what you think. :)

Blacken Sky
Bruised, Broken,
Dying, Depressed.
Torn, Taken,
Cut down, Crushed.
No matter the word,
The feeling is the same,
No matter where I go.
I still want to go home.
I still want to take off this mask,
That I wear to just get by.
To walk past into the realm called society.
To leave behind judgment,
Formality.
To honestly fit in,
To genuinely feel again.
To look in one’s eyes,
And know I’m perfect the way I am.
You walk around flaunting a fake name,
Pretending to be someone else.
I’d settle to be anyone at all.
I’d settle for knowing who I even was.
You walk around with a mask by day,
And take it off for your real friends.
If only you would take it off for me,
A masked, invisible man.
Who am I to you?
Some kid you can’t show the truth?
Am I just one of them,
Those other guys,
Who know nothing of the girl inside?
I’m no different aren’t I?
This mask is all you see.
That book, your story,
Is not for me to read.
You have a bestseller.
I just have my writing,
The rest is indifferent.
Me, my life, are both invisible,
Just like this poem I’m writing.

Bring your drink, leave my knife.
Happy belated New Year! One of my cousins was married on New Years Eve and they celebrated until New Years. Quite amazing actually, although I could not make it since it was in Florida. I saw The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo the other day. Very good, just uncomfortable to watch at certain parts. I see a lot of people are heading back to school this week. Luckily, I go back on the 18th. I hope everyone has a great second semester. Oh, with that said, I ended up with a 4.0 for my first semester of college. I am very proud of how I managed my first semester. Nothing is really going on for me right now, so I do not have much to say.

I'm sleepy... just woke up from a nap. Perhaps it's time for ice cream.
Dancing with the Devil;
A New year is upon us.
Locked in an everlasting tango
Of misery and despair...
No shouts of ours are heard
Through the curtain of celebration and cheer.
A murder's covered up
By tunes on the radio...
Up another flight of stairs;
Bloodstains on the wall;
Our shrieks as our souls are bludgeoned into...
Happy New Year's to all.
